The Friends of Lake Sammamish State Park Restoration Committee is excited to begin work on a new habitat restoration project along the buffer of Tibbetts Creek. Join us this fall to transform this area from a sea of blackberries to a thriving habitat for the wildlife in our park!
For safety, volunteers are required to wear: Long pants made of sturdy material, close-toed shoes, and gloves (provided - but you may want to bring your own well-fitting pair) In addition, we recommend that participants bring: Warm layers, a water bottle and rain gear. We will provide tools, project materials, and gloves.
Location: Tibbetts Creek, Lake Sammamish State Park WA
Once inside the state park take the first left towards Tibbetts Beach Parking Lot and follow signs to the volunteer event site.
